Patricia Williamsz


Born and educated in Northern Ireland and England Patricia qualified as a solicitor in 1978.
After practicing for several years she came to Australia in 1982 to travel for a year.

In 1983 she returned to live in Adelaide to work for the South Australian State Government.. She attended North Adelaide School of Art during 1986/7 obtaining an Advanced Certificate in Art specialising in fibre construction. After moving to Newcastle in 1988 he continued her studies at The Hunter Institute.

From 1991 to 1995 she completed an Associate Diploma in Landscape Design through the Hunter Institute of Technology (TAFE) and later worked in bush regeneration.

In 2002 she returned to practicing art, this time to paint. Since then she has been painting regularly and attending short courses including those at the National Art School. She has exhibited in various group shows over the past few years.
